2012 FLAFF KICK-OFF
The Philadelphia Latino Film Festival (originally known as the Filadelfia Latin American Film Festival, or FLAFF) began in 2012 with a single screening of Julia Marat’s Historias que so existem quando lembradas (Found Memories) at International House in University City. Admission included a pre-screening reception, a post-screening discussion with the film’s producer, and an after-party. It was the kick-off event that established the festival name in preparation for a full screening schedule in Spring 2013.
