A French woman of African descent manages to escape after being arrested in the Dominican Republic. She finds shelter in the most dangerous district of Santo Domingo, where she is taken in by a group of children. By becoming their protégée and maternal figure, she will see her destiny change inexorably.

IVAN HERRERA is a Dominican director and producer with more than 20 years experience in the audio-visual industry in the Dominican Republic. He took part as producer in several European productions, such as "Affaires Étrangères", "Où Es-Tu?", and "Ernstfall In Cuba". As an Assistant Director, he worked on renowned Hollywood titles such as Miami Vice, The Good Shepherd, as well as in the short film "Bandoleros" by Fast and Furious, directed by Vin Diesel. He also was a producer of the first Dominican movie directed by a woman, "La Hija Natural" by Leticia Tonos.
