Youth Salon Deadline Extended!
Hola Familia!
After hearing from our community we are excited to share an update on 2024 Philadelphia Latino Arts and Film Festival (PHLAFF) Youth Salon submissions, our submissions deadline has been extended to June 7th, 2024!
This initiative aims to showcase the creativity and talent of young filmmakers from our community, providing them a platform to share their stories, perspectives, and visions with a broader audience.

The guidelines for submissions are as follows:
Films (or excerpts) should not exceed 20 minutes
Films submitted and accepted for screening by youth under 18 will require parental consent unless the film is submitted by a teacher at their school
Each film must be submitted with its title, runtime, and the year it was made
Films must have been created after May 2023 (made within the last 2 years)
Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your community, networks and to promote it through your communication channels. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging creatives to showcase their work, and gain exposure at an international Film Festival. Below please find related links for you.
